Well yes and no
On the one hand yes it is illegal to age discriminate. However there are exceptions. Airlines routinely have a manditory retirement age of 65. Go figure. To get around the age discrimonation laws many companies use physical capabilities as a factor rather than age. Point here is that with every discrimination law there are loopholes.

Just my personal opinion but I think Cisco is making a mistake. If it were not for a man 70 years old at the time I started in the trucking business years ago, I would not be where I am in business for myself now. His wisdom and life expiriences taught me lessons I could never learn in school. Just my dos centavos.
