Experience should ALWAYS come before certifications
Sorry guys, anyone who hires someone based on a certificate is an idiot. For every MCSE thats hired I can show you 10 guys who dont and who have been working and doing well in the industry. Same for software and app development.

People keep forgetting...this field is no different than any other....its about the TALENT! How you choose to go about trying to evaluate that and find that limited commodity should NEVER begin with a piece of paper or an offshoring model. You should start with, "show me your hands-on experience" and the things you have built or fixed or solved with your hands, brains, eyes, and creative thinking.

Otherwise, look to hire a clone or army of people in your company who bring no innovation at all to your team and who all know the same things and who, as a group, struggle to solve the same probelms and who do not have exposure or the talent to solve.
