Another useless bitty rant
How did you arrive at the conclusion this is a small company? I've not seen a definition of what a small company is. Until you can adequately define what a 'small business' is to establish a frame of reference anything you claim is nothing more than opinion and you seem to have some of the most useless imaginable.

Do you claim number of employees? What about assets? Do these people manufacture their own product? Or do they let another company take care of the manufacturing?

From their web site: ...Alacritech is privately held. Alacritech has completed three rounds of funding totaling $35.38 million...

Does not sound like a typical 'small business' to me.

I worked for a company that had about 15 employees. It is an international company and by no measure would it be considered small. Had they manufactured their own product they would have needed at least 200 more people. The company that manufactures their boards has over 500 employees.

What is the definition of small? Number of people? How about all the other people involved in the manufacturing? Assets? Capital?

I also worked for a company that had about the same number of employees but would not be able to afford the costs associated with a patent, had few assets and never had large sums of cash available.

How about it, bitty. How many 'small' business have that capital? (I know you will probably claim you do but everyone knows your only livelyhood is shilling for MS on ZDNet. That dog won't bark)

You, as usual, crow when you have nothing to back-up your useless rants. What a surprise.
