That is what you will create with software patents. funny how you can't patent an idea in real life with real machines. But you can patent ideas for 17 years with software.
Small and large companies can get plenty of protection with copyrights. BTW, did you ever notice that TCP/IP was created and given to the world without any thought of patents? Just imagine everyone paying a royalty to MS if they were the one's owning the patent. Kinda like patenting the alphabet.
Every man for himself. Is that humanity?
