- I think you may be misunderstanding
-
When I say expensive I mean expensive compared to a rental.
PPV at $6.99 vs Renting for 2 nights at $4.99. So with PPV you pay more for less value. At least with a rental I can watch the movie twice if I want, something that does occur when say I watch but my wife falls asleep. The next day she can watch it too. Not so with PPV. You need to schedule around the time of the broadcast and it can't be paused, unless you have Tivo maybe.
PPV sucks today. Go back 5-10 years when it took over a year for a movie to get to rental stores PPV had an advantage of allowing you to see the movie 6 months earlier. But today when DVDs are getting released before the movie even hits PPV there is no reason to pay premium anymore. - Posted by: voska Posted on: 07/07/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
