It's got to be easy and useable
As you point out, it's got to be easy for the user. They already have
a dvd player, you need to give them something to make it worth
the bother. And that's where the content comes in, but to get that
content, it's going to have to be heavily locked up with DRM,
otherwise the studios won't bite. Which means the content won't
be as useable as what the viewer already has with the DVD system,
making this a non-starter.
