Your cable goes down or you're having a problem you have to either A. Go through their automated status system which tells you there is a problem, but "No estimated time of repair"...which they never have an estimated time of repair for ANY problems in their system..same goes for checking online. or B. An inexperienced pimple-faced tech wannabe reading from a script asking you about the exact same stuff you did before you called them..
Stupid questions they ask:
1. Is your cable modem on?
2. Have you unplugged it and plugged it back in?
3. Is your computer on?
4. Is your coax connection secure in the back of the modem?
5. Are you at your desk in front of the computer?
They should have a phone option...press 1 if you are an ex-AOL user who doesn't know his mouse from a hole in the ground, and 2 if you are a computer tech who can run circles around anyone in our tech support department.... - Posted by: itanalyst Posted on: 06/27/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
