iPod that could have been
All the rumors that I had read were hoping for a $100,150, or even 200 iPod, but it ended up being a flop. There is no motivation to buy this one over the dell DJ, which gives you 15 gigs for $250, instead of 4 gigs. I don't think the size is worth that extra premium. They could have done better than this. I don't think competition will have a problem climbing on board and snatching some of the iPods market share.

I also don't see the apple/mac market share growing much. When it comes down to the facts, you can't have a large market share without a low base line. Affordable is the key. Without one, they will stay a small niche company.
