If these were cars
...and someone was selling them at 1/10th the price, everyone here would be cheering. Instead, people act like it's the death of western civilization.

We've been here before. Well, not programmers, but our economies have been here before, facing the reality of development in the developing world. We survived, and boomed in new areas.

Of greater concern, methinks, is an American president who is letting religious conviction interfere in critical areas of new technology (biotech). Not a concern for Europeans, of course, but certainly for Americans, who historically excel in cutting-edge technology.
