Better take your own advice
The word free isn't always in reference to not having to pay money. You have the freedom of voicing your opinion on this board. Was that freedom granted for free? No, it wasn't. Open source maintains it's freedom (meaning that it's free) by being open and freely available for anyone to review, understand and use in a way that they see fit to use it, including the freedom to charge money for changes you may make to GPL'd code, even though you have to supply said code to your users for free. Simply because you don't understand the process doesn't make it a lie.

It's "people like you" who wish to give open source a black eye by any means possible. What is it that frightens you so much that you are willing to lie about it?
