Why 'evil'?
There may be plenty of reasons not to like it, but why must it be 'evil'? Is there some detail that strikes you as underhanded or conspiratorial? Or is everything you don't like automatically 'evil'? Isn't that one main justification for so much suffering these days -- labelling all those who disagree with us as 'evil'?

Oppose it for whatever reasons you want, but please be cautious with the absolute moral judgements. Such judgements are used to justify all sorts of heinous acts.
