Sure, there's the "Big Mac" super computer.

But, notice how they're the *only one* doing it?

When current super computer clusters ditch Linux / Unix for Macs, *then* I'd agree with you.
But one (or even a few) supercomputer(s) is an oddity, rather than a standard.
