Yeah, and reduced virus vulnerability
I like the idea.
Fewer critical files open to modification by viruses, much smaller backup of the OS (tens of MB, not 100s of MB), much faster reinstallation if needed, much less of your HDD eaten by the OS.

Apart from my hatred of useless little HDDs, I'd snap up one of these, and simply add in another drive.
Hell, if you need more grunt, just buy a KVM and have two (or more) of these systems doing your work.
With the slower, cooler CPU there's probably less fan noise, and much lower power consumption all around. Sweet!
