Hey, is that where Seinfeld got the mailman character from? Anyway, such an intelligent and humorous critique. I for one am not educated in the ways of the IBM world. So, I don't know the difference between a Global Services provider and the utility commodity model (w/o the PC utility of course) exhorted as UMI. It sounds like the idea is evolving and waiting for someone from Madison Avenue to fly a flag up a pole (no pun intended). Anyway, IBM being a monster needs to consume more flesh to survive as its size increases. Taking over the tasks of the HR dept and then the back office, they'll soon be the WoolWorth's of Wall Street, or maybe the Wal-Mart of India. Paris Hilton look out- here come the trust fund babies of Armonk. Not to laugh, worse ideas have florished.
