CEO salaries
If companies can pay retention bonuses to the executive corps just before heading into bankruptcy, a profitable company can certainly pay its CEO what he's worth. And immeasurably more.

Otherwise they'll go where they're appreciated, leaving only the people who do the work. And how will those people ever handle the true requirements of corporate life? Many do not even golf.
