Until Microsoft corrects these and other deficiencies

Who said that these were deficiencies? Microsoft is allowed to license its code in any way it sees fit. You might not like them but that doesn't make them deficient.

they should not use the term Open Source or open source to refer to their licenses

And they haven't so what is your problem? Wait, did you think that just because a ZDNet columnist and some ABMers said that MS said it was open source, you just assumed that MS actually said it? Here, I have one for you:

Richard Stallman has decided to charge a fee for all users of any GNU licensed software. "Mail me a $5 cheque or money order for every piece of GNU software on your hard drive or I will sue you." he announced to a room full of shocked OSS zealots.

See how easy it is to make stuff up and assign the quote to someone else? You try it, its fun!
