Do customers really want SOA?

SOA is reqd

I dont have any doubt that SOA is very powerful and can do lots of business for customers. I think the biggest challenge is to make people understand what actual SOA is and what it can do. The industry has big role to play to explain the things globally. To implement the SOA one is technically very good, is not enough, he needs to identify the services (which are the diffrent components of an integrated application) for the business for which he needs to have very good understanding of the customer business and how the changes of one industry effects the changes of the related customer services to maximise the business.
