Exploits = guaranteed
It doesn't matter whether it's beta or final gold code ... exploits are guaranteed. Not just because it's an MS product, but because it was created by humans. WinXX has holes, unix has holes, linux has holes, BSD's have holes, OSX has holes too. Same with Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, or any other OS ever created.

The question will be how horrific will the results of the exploits that get found be? I for one hope that they find LOTS of exploits in the beta ... so maybe they can get them out before it's released to the masses.

(I'm not a particular fan of M$, but it IS still what 90%ish of people use, and anything that makes it better makes my life easier too. The whole world isn't going to switch to linux or mac. And honestly, I kind of like it that way. :P )
