The open-source patent conundrum
So while claiming to make the patents available to open-source developers, Sun can sue folks who work on Linux rather than Solaris.

I don't see the problem with that. I do see the problem with your way of thinking tho. You feel that the GPL should be the only license and everyone should adhere to that. But thats where I disagree, no one should be forced to give away their code/patents like the GPL suggests.
