Um, are you clueless?
It is no surprise this comes from you.

Really? And how do you say this when you haven't the first clue who I am or how I operate my business?

Someone as consumed with greed and blessed with shortsightedness

Hmmm, almost 30 years in the business and you call it shortsighted? Tell me oh all knowing one, how many businesses have you ran?

---as you are will never see the benefit in having developers the world over make improvement in your code that will lead to increased sales in hardware and services.---

So explain how it sells more hardware? Are you suggesting people will buy exclusive Sun hardware to run Solaris and Linux on? Gee, and here I thought Sun was porting everything over to x86 and dropping Sparc. Care to explain it for me?

Service? Nope afraid not, Sun has been very clear that they do NOT want to be a services business. (Makes them smell too much like IBM.)

You seem to have the attitude of corporate America. Profits this quarter at all costs and damn the future.

Again, a FOOLISH assumption given that you neither know me and that I have been at it for 30 years or so.

Tell me, did anyone ever sit you down and explain what ASSUME means???
