Yes, we are missing lately Scott's verve, too bad. Is true that Sun
AND MS are the companies that OSS threaten the most. But there
is a different strategy going on: MS mostly stick to his guns:
proprietary & segregation of any other player; in the meantime,
Sun is positioning themselves as a player on the OSS arena with
a powerful offering: Open/Staroffice, Solaris 10 and Java (I
predict will be open in a few years) So the question, facing the
changing computing landscape: who is doing the right moves,
who need more the other?

Also I believe soon Ms will feel the need to consider porting
Office to Linux/Solaris. Remember, the battleground is Asia,
Europe and latin America. And MS is losing allready a lot of sales
there.
