Here's another part
..easier and prettier for a programmer while forgetting about the end users needs....

Why do I think these are actually related?

..output of their compilers as they did to its interface then you wouldn't have so many ABMers...

What do mean bt this? A better MSIL would somehow make things different how?

..talking about Access of course...

But this is targeting web apps so I don't understand the connection to pre-packaged Access.
BTW, Access is just a GUI for the Jet engine.
The same engine is available for your programming pleasure in Visual Studio - build the tables, forms, queries etc.
But then again MSDE version of SQL is available for distribution with your apps. It has a 2Gig limit but not bad for free.

..Of course people will still complain, out of either habit or lack of trust (releasing shoddy products year after year will result in major loss of trust)....

This is about current dev tools, Visual Studio.
I use it to make a living.
I missed the buletin about it being a shoddy product. I was under the illusion that it was actually great, I love .Net campared to what came before.
When 'edit and continue' comes back I'll be even happier.

I think there are a lots of complaints because the critics are totally ignorant of the subject matter, Visual Studio and .Net.
Empty vessels make the most sound.
