Re: Which Ones: Ease of use is THE most important thing. Ok, so I'm a Windows developer, but I've spent enough time on Unix platforms to know that their IDE's are sorely lacking. I haven't kept up with Borland since they released their Borland C++ 5.0. I tried it, and found it was sorely lacking in making Windows programs. So, I recommended we drop it and go with Visual Studio. It was the best decision I made on that contract. My opinion is, why use a second-rate tool (like Borland), when you can use a first-rate tool like MS Visual Studio to make Windows apps? Perhaps the situation is different for Web apps.
