Obviously you're happy with what you have, so there is no reason why you'd want something else.
Not everybody feels the same, however. Some people dislike what MS has to offer. For others, they simply use other platforms because those other platforms help them can do their better than Windows (see some of Yagotta B. Kidding's posts). Now if there are .NET applications that work for them, then MONO will be a good thing for them.
