When have you seen Eclipse last time?
You have somwhat old information. Right now at work we use Eclipse, IntelliJ and NetBeans. Guess what, all of them have drag-and-drop (yes, Eclipse has smart plugins if you did not know - just not always free).

The difference though is that I control code generated and adjust it to make it more maintainable for future developers that take over in next SDLC's.

Have you ever achieved that with VisualStudio? I have never in eight years of work with VisualStudio? And by the way, I had a chance to interview some developers from Microsoft area so, I pretty much have some idea of their knowledge on technology. I did not ask questions where to click to get some particular dialog window though.

Good luck
