Does it seriously matter? It seems pretty clear to me -- Windows Vista has sold 40 million licenses.

If Firestone gets their tires on every GM vehicle sold, and GM is the number one selling vehicle...does that make Firestone the number one selling tire?? What I said was the number has no context, which is required to determine how important that statistic is. How many are corporate/government licenses bought in some pre-packaged deal that will remain largely unused until the organizations can verify Vista? Do you know? Does the article state that? Nope.

40 million copies have been sold to people who don't arbitrarily hate Microsoft because they're Microsoft. Grow up and stop being a tool.

Tool? Suggesting that most people who have Vista know an OS from a hole in the ground is being a "tool". At one point did I say that I hated MS? Again, assuming that is being a "tool".
