As if touching up photos (and negatives) was NEVER done before the daze of Photoshop. It's just that it's so EASY now and takes relatively little talent.

I think this is just a reactionary action on Adobe's part because their braintrust doesn't like hearing the name of their glorious cash cow, er, product used as a verb in the context of forgery and deception ("that image was 'photoshopped'...").
