You can install OS X without having to...
... prove that you purchased anything else from Apple (except the Mac you're
installing it on!). The full version of OS X costs $129 (there is only one version with
everything included - no confusing choices and crazy pricing).

Our previous thread was closed. You had asked what the difference was between
Apple's Core 2 Duo systems and Dell's. The processor is the same, but obviously the
logic board and other components are different. Of course the OS is also different,
although you can install Windows XP or Vista on the Mac.
