If Intel just NOW started supporting the multithreading, how could people
take dvantage of the (infamous) hyper-threading in p4s or the concurrency available on Intel's SMPs ? It is really strange how Intel could wait for 5-7 years before considering multi-threading....

They must have been busy PATCHING their Fortran and C/C++ compilers which now how SOOOO MANY RELEASES (rel. 7, 8, 9, 10 plus TENS of sub-realeases..... sad ) that are enough to get people completely turned off using Intel'stools happy ...

Just cannot understand how a company as large as Intel can fail to provide good quality development tools, let alone their botchings of IA64 and the late comming core-2 ..... Greed / financial power eats away brain power?
