I happen to have a yahoo id, microsoft live and a gmail account. Out of all of them yahoo is the slowest (on broadband) and gmail and msn take about the same amount of time to login and in general usage. One thing that I cannot advocate is blind support of any particular company. A lot of (young) people seem to think that somehow Google is different. Keep believing it. Let's see your responses in about a decade or less.
