But can Live ID be trusted?
Live ID authentication might be a convenient means of performing single sign-on verification. Unfortunately, it also might be convenient for hackers. Security is only as secure as the security engine is. Does anyone trust Microsoft to do this? We hear about millions of people's confidential data being stolen or compromised every day. Would you trust your authentication data to an unproven provider (MS, I am sorry to say) and an unproven technology? I wouldn't.
