Maybe you should go shopping.
Almost all of the currently available PDA's are much more capable than the early pentium boxes. We did spreadsheets on those boxes. Why not PDA's. Even my old Palm Pilot III can do good size spreadsheets. I'm sure other portable devices can.

YOu take your PDA and the data needed, use a web based spreadsheet to grind out your results and download the results back to the PDA. Anywhere there is a net connection, I can have my data without a large bloated MS Office product that would never fit on such a small device.

What's wrong with that?
