You know what they say: Given the choice between Linux or an Abacus, most will choose the latter...

Then "they" are not very bright and don't use computers for much other than gaming. That's the only reason I see for staying with Windows and even that will be undermined over time.

I have one XP partition left which I use for video editing and music mixing. But it sits on a non-routable segment. Windows is fine until you connect it to the internet. Then it's a spyware laden security horror.
