Menus, layout, clunky & scattered, wasnt that the way of Windows?
While you might have a slight bias to anything Microsoft, and
against Google, the gist of your evaluation comments pretty
much describes Windows evolution, oh I mean Innovation. For
every version up until Maybe Windows 95, it has been clunky
and scattered at best. The fact that Microsoft also makes Excel,
means it comes from the same cloth. It sure wasnt a cute child
in it early iterations.

So for Google to release a first version and have it be clunky is
obviously a sign they must be onto something good, after-all,
clunky and scattered worked for Windows and Excel etc.

Keep your eye on the prize, even when youre getting high on
your MSFT biased prose, Google is going to rewrite the way
people use information, and make it a needs based design,
rather than a maintenance nightmare that requires babysitting a
PC for OS and application updates.

Why bother with MSFT when you can just boot up your browser
and work easily, and free of the baggage like Macro viruses, DLL
hell, and new menu command location changes with each
version? Today its Excel in their "sights", what do you think it
will be in 5 years?
