HIPAA, SOX, GLB,...Anyone?
Does anyone remember a few years back when one of MicroSoft's service packs (can't remember which, there have been so many) came out that essentially gave MS unecumbered backdoor access to your PC? Remember what a severe infraction of HIPAA security requirements that was? What about security of Sarbannes-Oxley Data? Graham-Leach-Bliley data? This really smacks of "big brother" watching you in a way that is really, really scary. Besides, since when has MS become the arbiter of what is relevant information? Is see massive server requirments surrounding this with a "never ending story" of patches and security fixes. Apparently Bill's conceit has no bounds. srk
