It's kinda curious how on every discussion about Java ZDNet forgets to mention Apache's Project Harmony, which already enjoys Sun's blessing and is developing a "cleanroom" java VM with the goal of it passing Sun's official Java Compatibility Tests.
Isn't this good enough??
