I see some very small benefits
The fine-tuning of what runs in what container seems like micromanagement. This looks a lot like "full OS' threads - thread the entire OS instance and then run apps on each one.

This seems to me to be similar to Raid 0+1 (striped mirrors) and Raid 1+0 (striped mirrors), insomuch as Raid10 is a great technology, while Raid01 just kinda sux - even though they are different ways of doing the same thing. This container thing sure SOUNDS like it sux to me - I'm from Missouri on this one.
