Eashy adjustments in system preferences
Yo can set the size of the icons in the dock to the size you want
and also set the Genie effect to enlarge each one as you pass
over it. If you have a lot of apps in the dock you can add 3rd
party apps like Overflow that lets you organize the apps for
rapid selection. (I goundOverflow at http://osx.hyperjeff.net/
Apps/). Hyperjeff hasc lose to 15,000 OS X apps for you to
tweak your Mac the way you want it.

You can also set the mouse speed to your liking in system
preferences.

Got a big screen and have problems finding the curser?
Mousepose is free - press F1 and it is highlighted for a period of
time you set.

Forget running OS X on your computer - ain't gonna happen. if
you need some quality time with OS X go to an Apple Store or
CompuUSA that has an Apple Rep. That would provide far more
effecient quality time than playing with a Mac at home. The
Missing Manual is also a good investment if you are into
discovering things about an OS via a manual.
