First off the doc can be moved and resized, I have mine on the
right at about 1/4 the size of what it is in the store. The mouse
can be speeded up in the preferences, and other companies
make more agressive drivers so that the mouse has the feel of
an MS mouse.

I am a true Mac Fan, I believe their computers are clearly
superior to a Windows machine. That being said, the transition
to Mac is not as easy as some Mac Fan Boys would have you
believe. My wife, a long time Windows user cursed our new iMac
at least five times a week for the first six months. Things on the
Mac were just different enough to mess with her head. Yet, over
time she came to really like the Mac, she loves iphoto (we have
two kids under five) and loves the fact that the machine is never
off. Other than reboots for software updates we have not
switched the thing off in a year of ownership. She really enjoys
being able to just sit down and do some work.

Now that Mac is 100% windows compatible, you could buy a Mac
Mini for 600.00 and worse case scenerio you end up with an
overpriced, cool looking windows machine. But remember, you
need to give the Mac a fair shake, it does take a while to learn
the intricacies of a Mac.
