Still a security feature
So being in the security preferences, is the proper place. Why
should you have to go to multiple places to require a password.
If you read the text (next to the checkbox) it says

Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen
saver

The keyword here is sleep. My computer is almost never
shut off, I just let it go into sleep mode (or put it in sleep mode).
So Apple simplified it.

How hard is it to burn a cd in xp? Open up media player add
files to burn list, hit burn.

Who was talking about media player? I for one wasn't. I was
talking about burning a CD from the desktop. Something the
wonderful folks at Microsoft haven't got quite right yet.

Drag and drop of a file does not make an alias in xp,it makes a
copy of the file.

OKay I got that one wrong (happens to everyone). It's when you
drag it from the hard drive, to the desktop. Another question,
why can't I delete internet explorer? I believe a lot of it has to do
with what you're trained on. Different doesn't mean harder,
unless you're not capable of change.
