How much is enough?
Where I live the cost of living is bloated out of proportion to the rest of the country. The average person (anything not dealing with software or technology) can barely afford to live here.

These overpriced, overpaid tech folks are destroying the lower to lower middle class citizen by making more than they are worth and driving the cost of living up to a point where a person that doesn't work in technology is barely able to feed, cloth and house themeselves.

So when is enough $$$ enough? Apparently it never will be because of un-realistic valuations of many products. I see this massive influx of OSS in the market as an equalizer, a way to bring the over inflated value of many products back down to a real and reasonable level.

Guess one of the reasons I am making such a good living isn't by charging what my competitors do, but a more realistic rate the the average person can afford. I make my money... in a large clientelle base and with only word of mouth to get me out there. I make enough to pay my taxes, fuel my vehicles, cover my insurance and feed my family as well as make gold and platinum purchases.

Could I make more? Sure, I could! I could make easily double or more. But why? All my needs are met, proper management of my money over the years has allowed me to own everything with little to no debt (house payments were not included, and the house is paid off).

So by proper management of funds and a good sense of ethics, I can and do provide for my family quite well... yet I do not come vary close to making 6 digits a year.

So maybe these other people are getting it as well, maybe they realize they have enough. So Anton, when is enough, enough?
