I've heard the microsofties yap about this year or that being the year of Linux. Bogus. There is no year of Linux. If there was, it would be last year. F/OSS is firmly established in the enterprise now and growing every day. If there was a tipping point it was last year. But the boost phase was happening even before then. Too bad most of you slept through that phase and now find your skills don't match the emerging market. It's natural to be angry when you get caught with your head up your a**.

I love it. I love seeing the NBMers lose another app to a LAMP stack, like seeing NT 4.0 boxes being retired in favor of RedHat. Because I know that the only way MSFT is going to increase revenue quarter over quarter is to squeeze it out of those of you not getting the hint and changing platforms. And I can sit back and laugh with nearly endless billing to fix MSFT's Crapware 2005. lol. Not to mention converting .NET 1.1 apps to 2.0. MSFT users, assume the position!
