Simple
diversity of environment, true consumer choice without being forced into a single source solution. A true competetive market again driven by choice. In the event you haven't noticed Mac's are picking up in sales, because they can, have and will continue to deliver well before Windows.

Linux is hot on the heels of both, incorporating the best of each into it's own unique way of design and implementation.

Bottom line is I am sick of Microsoft and how they force users into a single, expensive and often ill planned and deployed solution. And I am not alone, millions of others are sick of it and if they believed they had a choice they could afford you better believe there would be an exodous from the Microsoft platform.

Because if the single environment and the lack of diversity coupled with the fact that Microsoft is trying to do too much the public has been harmed. But it's okay! Bill is a multi-billionaire and Microsoft is still impeding true competition. Now with Vista the AV company's and firewall companies and many others will be denied a living because Microsoft has incorporated these tools into their system. Again hurting the eco-system.

That is why Anton.
