Back in the mid-90s, I worked at Corel and they had a very nice Mac version of WordPerfect. Unfortunately they canceled it because they weren't making any money from it. In fact, I still have a t-shirt for Corel WordPerfect 4.0 for the Mac that never actually shipped.

Corel has been hurting financially for quite a while so, while it's sad, it's not surprising that they're not porting to Mac and Linux. There's just no money for it.
