Portable version of OpenOffice.org unveiled

144MB is nothing!: "But 144MB is still too big, considering that many USB sticks only store 256MB, according to Gary Barnett, a research director at analyst firm Ovum."

I've got both Portable OO.org and Portable Firefox on my 1GB pen drive, and I've got no complaints. If Mr. Barnett is looking for something slimmer, Portable Abiword weighs in at 14.2MB, and it handles MS Word documents. I'm pretty sure future versions will handle ODF text documents.
