File sizes .doc 22K, .odt 11K - identical file! Real bloat!
And equivelent for other file types.
So no matter what the program size is, the thousands of MS Office documents that I have take up about 20G bytes and getting them all converted will make 10G available for more documents.

Isn't that vastly more important on a laptop with those tiny HDs?

Also, my MS office 2K with only Word and Excell installed takes 155M and FULL OpenOffice takes 244M. How much more would office take with all the options? MS has always had more bloat!
