There is a good side to this
While Sony is going to take a blood bath on this it is going to be
right in the face of the other record companies and their execs
will be the first to understand how Sony execs aren't going to
get a bonus for several years. That and they will see just how
many Sony execs are going to have to fall on their swords before
this is over. Putting some fear in the record industry is going to
be a good thing for consumers.

Me? I was going to buy Neil Diamond's new album for my wife
for Christmas. That's off the list until a safe version is out - or
I'll get it on the iTunes Store.
