Yup, Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, what icons ...
... of character and and ethics THOSE two are!

Ya want great ethics and character? Jimmy Swaggart, now THERE'S a guy you want teaching Sunday school to your 13-year-old daughter!

On the other hand, take Mother Theresa; there's a person we could all go to school on for learning about character.

I've seen dirtbags and heroes of all persuasions: Christians, Atheists, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, etc., etc. It doesn't matter what your faith is.

What DOES matter is something that you can see that is different about the three people in my first two paragraphs, and the one person in my third.

Are they wealthy? Do they have lots of money? THOSE people are more likely to be of the dirtbag persuasion. Faith is no match for wealth and greed.
