sco dropped all copyrigt claims to linux this is contract violation
it turned out sco didn't own the code they thought they owned, and in any case novell disputes ownership.
It's hard to see the whole case fly for sco since ibm signed a perpetual unix license with at&t (at&t were original owners of unix).
sci directors will rotate stock options like crazy, making money out of saps, then they'll withdraw the claim as usual.
