I've seen a total of ONE Flashpaper item excluding the Flashpaper demo on Macromedia's site. I was very excited about it. When a page opens up in my brower & loads Flash, it's as quick as an image (plus in can be inline within the HTML, like an image). PDF takes what feels like a year to open. I'm grateful that PDF can't be placed inline, that would make things even worse. PDF (and this is a flaw in the software, not necesarily the format itself) is so cumbersome, I save all PDF's to be read later or printed. I especially despise how some sites, once you get more than a page or two deep, instead of making the effort to transform their Word docs into quality HTML with the rest of the site, simply save it to PDF and then link to the PDF. With Office 12 supporting PDF, I'm sure that I can expect this to be the norm from here on out. Then again, if Office didn't make such a mess of things when saved to HTML, this would be a lot less of an issue...
